The Kintsugi Collection
Each piece in The Kintsugi Collection begins as a unified form. Into that wholeness, fracture lines are intentionally introduced and traced by hand, honoring the spirit of kintsugi while preserving the integrity of the original form.
Rather than shattering the unified piece, the lines are carefully created and then traced using resin infused with gold mica, gold flakes, or both. The gold follows each path with intention, making visible what might otherwise remain concealed.
Inspired by the Japanese practice of kintsugi, where cracked vessels are repaired with precious metal, this collection honors breakage without erasing it. The philosophy is not restoration to perfection, but reverence for what has endured.
In these works, the lines remain present. They do not disappear. They become part of the form’s identity — luminous, intentional, and strong.
The Kintsugi Collection reflects a truth at the heart of grief and love: that what wounds us also shapes us and that what is mended carries its history forward.
Nothing here is concealed.
Nothing is undone.
The beauty emerges because of the mark — not in spite of it.
The Kintsugi Collection exists where separation becomes form and healing leaves a visible trace behind.
